I attended Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill with the Alzheimer's Association. Alzheimer's is the most expensive disease in America, costing $277 billion annually. The Alzheimer's Association is advocating for increased research funding and patient and caregiver support.
The Longest Day was a marathon book signing in memory of my mother Elizabeth. It honored Alzheimer's caregivers and raised Alzheimer's awareness. The event was on June 21 from 6 am until 10 pm. "H.O.P.E. for the Alzheimer's Journey" was sold and proceeds went to the Alzheimer's Association.
